Mr. M. K. Gupta brings over 44 years of experience in civil engineering and large-scale construction, spanning public infrastructure, execution, policy, and dispute resolution.

He has served as a Member of the Railway Board, where he was responsible for overseeing and guiding some of India’s most complex and high-value infrastructure projects. Across his career, his total project exposure exceeds ₹2,00,000+ crores, covering planning, design review, execution, approvals, audits, and post-completion evaluation.

An IIT alumnus and topper, Mr. Gupta combines academic excellence with unmatched on-ground experience. He has also taught civil engineering at IIT Bombay, contributing to the development of future engineers through structured, real-world-oriented instruction.

Beyond execution and education, Mr. Gupta is actively involved in high-value arbitration and dispute resolution, where he works on cases involving multinational corporations and significant financial stakes. His role often involves examining technical failures, contractual gaps, and execution mismatches—giving him rare insight into what actually goes wrong in real projects, and why.
